Much of interest today. Treehugger is a great repostitory of quick-bite, green living information. This Volvo is the future of electric vehicles, using Lithium-Ion batteries. With a driving range of 180 miles, not quite the 300-400 we're accustomed to, it comes closer to matching what we expect out of a vehicle. But perhaps our ideas of what a car does should change. Most usage is around town, which 180 miles will cover no problem. My dream is to live in downtown Austin, with one electric vehicle (or plug in hybrid) with zero emissions and one hybrid or alt.fuel vehicle for the longer trips to see friends, etc. I love to drive, but I don't need two cars that can go everywhere at the drop of a hat.
