Idle hands do the Devil's work.

A couple of books for the record

Two books read last summer, I put them here because I want to save them for posterity.
While Chabon's Wonder Boys was good, I actually like the movie better. Rare, and I may be in the minority but the book goes into this long, faraway place when he hunts down his wife. I think it was better done in the movie, and the movie was well done.
Murakami's book was excellent and strange. I always have to wonder how much am I missing because of cultural recognition. Things that the Japanese don't even think about don't make sense to us gaijin, you know. But excellent none the less.

RRR The Wonder Boys - Michael Chabon

RRRR The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle - Hiruki Murakami
